Kirk Lawrence, from Elkin, NC now calls Chapel Hill his home.  Plays mandolin and sings lead vocals as well as tenor and baritone harmony.  Kirk puts the High in the  High Lonesome Sound..

David Culler brings his exceptional vocal and rhythm guitar skills to MCB. Originally from Elkin, NC he now lives in N. Wilkesboro home.  A well known musician in the Western NC bluegrass scene, David brings the true sound of traditional bluegrass to the stage.

Nat Smith is originally from Raleigh, and now calls Carrboro home. His sense of time and tempo is incredible, and his bass playing is the heartbeat of MCB and our traditional sound.    

 Keith Thomas  lives in Sanford and is no stranger to the NC bluegrass scene. Keith's talents are displayed in a number of bands, such as the Grassomatics and the Lovesick Drfiters (Hank Williams tribute).  A long time member of Tommy Edwards' Bluegrass Experience, Keith's fiddling is second to none and we are thrilled to share the stage with him in MCB.

 Tim Mendenhall is originally from Siler City and now calls Oak Ridge, NC home.  Tim brings decades of experience in bluegrass to MCB.  He has played in multiple bluegrass bands from Central to Western NC, to include the original lineup in Nu-Blue.  A veteran of festivals across NC, Tim is a true pro and we're excited to have him with us.
