From Flatt and Scruggs, the Stanley Brothers, Bill Monroe, and Jimmy Martin to the Country Gentlemen, this Tar Heel band captures that high lonesome sound with soaring harmonies, hard driving banjo, and solid rhythm that will take you back to a time before country music became what it is today.

Michael Booze is orignally from Kingsport, Tennessee and now lives in Carrboro, NC. Keeping the "drive alive on the Five," Michael's taste and timing puts the Blue in Bluegrass. Sings lead vocals and tenor harmony.
Nat Smith keeps us on time with his exceptional Bass playing. Originally from Raleigh, he now calls Carrboro home.
John McNeal, originally from Asheville, NC now resides in Chapel Hill. Plays rhythm guitar and sings lead and back up vocals.
Clint Brooks, originally from Smyrna, Georgia calls Durham, NC home. Plays fiddle and sings lead and tenor harmony.
